To cap off our study of the Holocaust, students are creating remembrance newspapers in Pages. Each student is creating four articles on relevant topics to the Holocaust. As true journalists do, students complete research on the topic in order to provide historical context for their readers and they listen to relevant survivor testimonies from iWitness. It has been thrilling to see how much student DBQs have improved their expository writing skills. Their products so far have been very impressive!
Today we finished tackling imovie! 7th graders made trailers introducing information on the major totalitarian dictators of the 1930s and 8th graders made trailers on New Deal Programs. I was very impressed by their effort, engagement, and final products.
